John Abbate is a young brain tumor survivor. He was diagnosed as a college senior and had to start everything over after his diagnosis. He is currently recreating himself and is eager to share his story.


Kristen Albair is a melanoma survivor. She is very involved with the American Cancer Society and the San Diego Chapter of "Stupid Cancer"

Catherine Blotner is a teen brain tumor survivor from Michigan. As an active high school student, she provides a unique perspective on KICKING MASS!


Jennifer Derilo is a lymphoma survivor from San Diego, CA. She created her own campaign: "Jenemies-Care Bear Stare" to rally her troops in her epic battle against lymphoma!


Eric Galvez is a brain tumor survivor. He is the Founder and President of mAss Kickers Foundation. He is very active with the Brain Science Foundation, National Brain Tumor Society, and the San Diego Chapter of "Stupid Cancer"


Ligaya King is a young adult lymphoma survivor. She is very active in the San Diego Chapter of the "Stupid Cancer" and the San Diego Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.





Bernard Llave is a leukemia survivor and very active "thriver".  He is the Founder of the "b.strong" movement.  He will be sharing his journey as a thriver one year post stem cell transplant.
Becky MacKenzie is a young thyroid cancer survivor in Florida. She is very involved with the LiveSTRONG Organization and participates in many cancer advocacy movements.
Heather Swift is a young breast cancer survivor.  She is very active in the cancer community through LiveSTRONG, attending national conferences, and performing TUMORS SUCK NEWSFLASH INTERVIEWS.  She brings an element of "SHAZAM!" to mAss Kicking.




Gayle Wismar is a young breast cancer survivor. She is very active in the Austin, TX breast cancer advocacy community. Her irreverent attitude towards cancer is contagious!
